Terms of Use

Last updated: April 2026. Supportd Pty Ltd, Sydney NSW Australia.

These terms exist to protect everyone who uses Supportd, including participants, families, support workers and providers. Please read them. If anything is unclear, contact us at info@supportd.com.au and we will explain it in plain language.

About Supportd

Supportd is an online discovery platform that connects NDIS participants, families, carers and support coordinators with NDIS service providers and independent support workers across Australia. Supportd Pty Ltd is not an NDIS registered entity, is not affiliated with the NDIA or any government body, and does not provide NDIS support services directly.

Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using the Supportd platform, whether as a participant, family member, carer, support coordinator or provider, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not use the platform.

For participants, families and carers

Supportd is free to use for participants, families and carers. You may search the directory, view provider profiles and submit enquiries without creating an account. By submitting a matching enquiry, you consent to your contact details and support needs being shared with matched providers. Supportd does not guarantee the availability, quality, registration status or suitability of any provider listed on the platform.

For providers, support workers and sole traders

Providers must create an account and pay a subscription fee to be listed on Supportd. By listing on Supportd, you confirm that all information on your profile is accurate, current and not misleading. You agree not to list services you are not qualified, registered or insured to provide. Supportd reserves the right to remove any listing that violates these terms.

Provider verification and credentials

Supportd allows providers to display verification badges on their profiles including NDIS Worker Screening checks, Working With Children checks, police checks and first aid certifications. By selecting these badges, you confirm that you currently hold the relevant certification or clearance. Supportd does not independently verify these credentials. Providing false verification information is a serious breach of these terms.

The matching service

The Supportd matching service is provided on a best efforts basis. When a participant submits a matching enquiry, our team reaches out to providers on their behalf. We do not guarantee that a match will be found, that a provider will respond, or that the support relationship will be successful. The matching service is provided free to participants.

Subscriptions and billing

Provider subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your provider dashboard, effective at the end of your current billing period. Supportd does not offer refunds for partial months. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

Prohibited conduct

You must not use Supportd to engage in any unlawful activity, to harass, threaten or deceive other users, to impersonate another person or organisation, to post false or misleading information, to scrape or harvest data from the platform, or to interfere with the operation of the platform. Violation of these rules will result in immediate account suspension.

Limitation of liability

Supportd provides the platform on an as-is basis. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free or free from harmful components. To the maximum extent permitted by Australian consumer law, Supportd is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the platform.

Intellectual property

All content on the Supportd platform, including design, copy, code, logos and data architecture, is owned by Supportd Pty Ltd unless otherwise stated. Provider profile content remains the intellectual property of the provider. By creating a profile, you grant Supportd a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your profile content on the platform and in marketing materials.

Dispute resolution

If you have a dispute with another user of the platform, we encourage you to resolve it directly. If you have a complaint about Supportd, please contact us at info@supportd.com.au and we will work to resolve it promptly. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Registered providers will be notified of significant changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
